I don't call mine a connector room, I call it a mud room. Pretty much the same setup, door to the basement.. door to the garage.. and one to the outside.. Have a sink and shower in it.. I come in that way when i'm to dirty to walk in the house, and not dirty enough to undress in the garage...lol
