Well I have newly discovered it as a wonderful way to thicken the filling in fruit pies. My mom had a box of it and I was looking for a way to use it up. It was my new favorite kitchen trick but now I think it's just high maintenance. In my subjective opinion I do like the results better than using flour or corn starch though. But GAHHH! the price.
