I'm completely new to farming. I'm concerned with input costs, but I'd like to start growing the soil. Not mining it and it's limited resources.
What I've considered was planting tillage radishes to recycle the nutrients from the soil being turned and fert application. Mix with an annual clover and possibly wheat, or oats. In the spring, apply lime and minimal tillage then no follow up with no till corn, repeat next year.
