Hi i'm new to the forum, but I thought I would post because i'm down south too. What i've seen done with most of the corn is mow it off, or have been using a turbo till like tool. We don't have insurance on our corn so we are going to combine it, and see what we get, and just plant beans next and hope for the best next year. I would keep all you can on the field because your going to need it to build up that CRP.
