King City, Mo | we are lookin at the heat and glow fire places. We aren't looking to keep the house warm with the fire place unless there is a power outage. We have a zoned ground source hvac system and the thermostat is 2x ft away for the first floor away from the fire place.
If it makes the living room toasty when we don't have power and it's winter time, we will all sleep in the living room in sleeping bags/recliner/couch. I slept in my wrangler jeans, hoody, and blankets the last time the power went off. I was cold. Mom went on a hawaii cruise.........
