Subject: RE: Nervous ticks in kids

Frytown, Iowa

dont worry about it... i did similar things when i was young... and still some things some of the time... it is really the same thing as some people picking their nails, playing with hair, tapping fingers, popping gum ect...

make him aware that that is socially "awkward" and continue to remind him of that kindly... he will eventually catch on that in certain areas (such as public) he shouldnt do that... had a friend that would "shake" his leg while sitting... his calf muscle would literally vibrate and you could feel it through the floor... some what annoying. others think they have to "sniff" every 5 frikking seconds... these things are only annoying once they are brought to your attention...

something as simple as glasses or contacts could fix your sons "tick" as well... if your eyes are strained from poor vision they will get tired and restless... hence the eye roll and yawning... i would get his eyes checked first and foremost... far before a cat scan...
