So. IL | They are a pain in the rear to set up correct. You have to get the pinion depth set corect and then the ring gear set corect, both require shimming and to do so you will take it apart several times to get it set right. And it takes a special puller to remove the bearing from the pinion, unless you want to cut it off every time you need to adjust the shims. If you have nothing better to do than play arround with it, then go for it. If you are busy like most, find a junk yard axle and put it in, change oil and go on your way. | |
