Red River Valley | what I have found through my own use is that by adding 10% ethanol ie 1 gallon of Ethanol to 10 gallons of "pure gasoline" those 11 gallons of finished product will thak me 3% farther than the 10 gallons of pure gasoline.
I just don't see how it is so confusing for you to understand that concept.
I think my math is pretty straight forward not sure where your coming up with the figures you are using.
I have owned 2 vehicles in my lifetime that would do as good on e-10 as pure gasoline and one a 2004 f-150 would do as good on E-50 as pure gasoline other than those two every other car has see a drop in MPG whenever any amount of ethanol is added.
but as seems to be the case with most things theses days I must just get the auto's that show this problem everybody else get better MPG after adding ethanol. | |
