Just so i understand your last line... You are saying a outfit that wants to buy as much corn as they can does better when there is a bunch of corn to buy?

Also for some general information Cargill did not jump into ethanol because the goverment is so darn fickle when it comes to it. Heck you still don't know for the next year what they want to do. Cargill the way i was told has had a policy that whatever business they get into MUST survive WITHOUT the promised goverment intervention that may available at the time they are looking into said business. I would assume with this information you would get a better feeling of what they do and why.
