| That's what I expected here in NW illinois, too. However, the last 2 days of 100+ degrees really took it out of our crop, and it didn't recover like I hoped it would without rain. There are still good patches, but there are pretty big patches that are still rolled up even in the cool weather. The color isn't there either. I'm glad the heat is gone for now, but significant damage was done, and we need rain soon. The fat lady hasn't sung here yet by any means, but she's warming up. The disaster zone keeps getting bigger every day that goes by without rain. |
