Decaturville TN
TNfarmer I was wondering if you got rid of that traveling gun. I have been thinking about pivots too. I had a guy who has some pivots look at my place and he said the worst problem I have is flood prone land and TN River backwater getting on the pivot pretty much every winter. That would be pretty hard on the wheel drives I would think. I have a big canal with river water in it waist deep on one end of the field and 3 phase power on the other end. Seems like a few years like this would pay for one though. You get any of this rain lately? We got .1 but looks like we have decent chances for a few days. Might help the corn a little (way too late on most) would be great on the beans. If you take a fact finding trip on irrigation I might want to tag along. There are not any pivots around here. Rick
