Saronville NE
Why not buy some used pivots and pump outa the river? Ive got a couple pivots on small farms, got a 5 tower on a 50, got another 9 tower on a 80. Got 3 towers left over from that 5 tower pivot that I think we are going to try and put up on another 15 acre patch. There are tons of used pivots to be bought around, alot of 10-15k pivots that are older, just check the pipe real close, the rest can be rebuilt easy enuff. I got one the pipe is rusting thru on, that will pry have to be replaced next year, but will put another used one on, doesnt cover enuff acres to put new 60k pivot up. Pivots will pay for themselves quickly specially in years like this, between 100bu corn and 200 bu corn is big difference in income, or in some areas even growing a crop this year.
