Subject: I don't think any of them have competition

I think its a sad state in broadband, when companies try to claim competition which there is none.  Time warner install verizion wireless's fiber back bone splice right in front of my house, can't even get business service out of the 22 strans of dark fiber.  We have access to fairpoint cable modem system acts like satellite when things get busy.  Windstream is our phone company dsl is limited buy lack of backbone from remote back to central office fairpoint had darkfiber in place buy would not rent to windstream no money is better than some.  Winstream has started to build backbone in our area but skipped some remotes maybe they can't read there own maps maybe cheaper to splice it a second time. The way these companies seem to be run they all will need continuous government hand outs.  Actually even with the price and cap it makes VZW LTE seem very impressive but anyone could provide competition
