Had this happen on our 835 last year. You can take a 2x4, go in from where the tractor articulates and tap the lever out of gear. Problem was I was trying to shift the gear to fast and got stuck, apparantly this is a common problem as they get older and worn. Haven't had a problem again, I just am very slow and precise when shifting gears, not fast and rammy....
