West Texas | When I first started driving, the speed limit for trucks was 45 mph. The tickets in a commercial vehicle didn't go on your record or count against your insurance. the fines were $1.00 + $14.50 court costs. The company paid all tickets .Got use to running wide open everywhere. Finally joined the Army and when I returned in 3 years, the rules had all changed. They didn't really start getting tough until 1988 or 1989. That is when I finally slowed down. Will occasionally find myself pushing it, but it is not intentional.
I can assure you that if some idiot pulls a gun he better plan on using it then and not missing. Mine is just concealed not inaccessible. |
