Mid Minnesota | Had an neighbor row cropping next to about 1200 apple trees secound year he sprayed corn wind was coming our way a little asked him about it didnt have a good answer but did bring up the fact that we use spray also and werent organic so by his thinking he could spray any thing well the law in mn and federaly on labels drift in any form is illegal that means my drift to his crop and his drift to my crop organics have absolutly nothing to do with spray drift, I have been raising row crops and specalty crops for years we need these tools for our production so please be carefull and follow all labels and watch your wind speed and temperature inversions we certanly dont want more regulation for no good reasons. Also some people see a sprayer runnig and assume that everything your spraying is on the level of ddt not knowing that organic pesticides are sometimes as toxic or more so than conventional sprays Thanks for the Rant Dave | |
