Newfane NY | Yes Tim I agree with you on your figures. Here over the last 8 years we have had yield from 85 to 185 bpa whole farm average. During that same time frame we have had from 600 to 2200 acres planted with 1800 to 2000 acres our yearly goal. Starting harvest moisture has been from 25% to 32%. Knowing my exact cost per bu. to grow the crop before harvest is IMPOSSIBLE.
Anyone who says they know their exact cost per bu. before harvest.....I challange them to post their figures and how they know the yield they will have now on this 07 and 08 corn they are selling.
