Plus if it does, do you actually think anyone would take off with their 17 year old kid to fix fence and then say 'oh, wait a minute, you can't help, you better go home and sit on the couch'? I doubt it. The problems will arise when something happens to that 17 year old kid and you have to take him/her to the emergency room. Then you will be charged with child abuse/neglect.
