Our nations and peoples remain the closest of friends,
 Like any friends,  we  can be critical  of each other,  or simply  disagree on some things,  and  bicker over some others.
Maybe  even on occasion we each sulk a little.

 I am very conscious  of the fact that if it werent for the  United States intervention in WW2,  my nation would more than likely  be living under a  flag depicting a red  risng sun on a white background. 
And I  personally most likely would not exist.
