The story I keep hearing is most bankruptcy's are caused by huge health care bills which they were not insured or the insurance met their limits. So at that time your equity is gone, and they will take all of your assets. Some didn't have insurance because insurance companies won't insure people who have health issues. It's the cold hard facts of life.
