Topshot, Indiana and Illinois legislatures, among several other states, are processing laws right now to repeal what the sheriff is supposed to do, and prevent debtors from facing legal penalty....jailtime, warrants, etc. Interesting legislature being passed, to basically close all loopholes from the 1870 closure to the 'debtors jail' as it was known.
