| My FIL died this past Thursday. On Friday we made the arrangements and cemetary were he was to be buried at called and wanted us to meet them at the plot because they could not find any record of him owning a plot. After going out and taking the deed to prove that he owend it there was still a problem. Someone else was already buried in his plot. We went to the town hall which owns the cemetary to look over some more records and see what was the problem. To make a long story short my FIL bought his plots in 1983 and in 1998 the person he bought them from sold them again to someone else. Just happend that they needed it before he did. The town hall said it was a civil affair and that we would have to get a lawyer to help us which I new that. The man that sold the plots is dead and the lawyer that did the deed is dead. What would you do? Yes we did get him buried just somewhere else. | |
