The corn that you see in the manure is not viable as alot of the nutrients were absorbed out of it. Calves will crack alot of it on their own. Cows not so much. We had a pig to follow up and eat the corn in the manure. Or hubby had a good dove hunt.
In the past it wasn't worth the difference to crack it-- with feed costs and lb of calf costs it may be different now.
