Northern NE Panhandle | Garvo, I've got 20 300 to 400 lb fall calves in the lot now, I bought them and their mothers in late Nov for $1200 a pair. I sold their mothers a couple weeks ago for an avg price of $975 weighup. They have been weaned for over two weeks and been on creep for a month which is a 75 25 distilers and limiter pellet and all the good alfalfa grass hay they want. I'm paying $305 a ton for this feed I think it's a 20% protein pellet. Their isn't really a big fall calf market around here I just kinda fell into these and thought I could turn a buck, when would you like to buy them? ;) | |
