southern mn. | Dont bash all box stores. Had this happen a few years back. Took wife and kids to Walmart 30 miles away to buy a trampoline on sale. Got there and they were sold out. They searched and found one at another store a half hour away. Went there and loaded the last one on the cart and got to the register and we realized we forgot our checkbook. At that time we had no creditcard. The manager came over to find out why our kids were crying and we explained what happened. Believe or not he let us take it and told us to send the check by mail! Still can't believe it. I never wrote out a check so fast in my life when I got home. Told my wife I'm going to take the kids with me when I negotiate my next tractor purchase and tell them to start crying when the dealer won't come down in price. | |
