Central Kansas | Well...I pulled the top plate off after getting the snap ring out and everything with the shift lever was fine. Problem: the shift arms inside are connected to the shift lever by a bracket with a slot in it for the arm to go in. Some were bolted on, some riveted. Lucky me....mine are riveted and the reverse arm slot end is broken off at the rivets. Retrieved it, but the tractor has to be split to repair. Wowzee!!
