Faunsdale, AL
When it really gets tight, such as a cow down in the parlor where no machine can go, we have some pieces of old mine conveyer belt around. We lay one down next to the cow and slide her over on it. then place another piece next that one in the direction we need to go and drag her onto it. Just keep swapping the pieces of rubber. Helps to have some lubrication on the rubber, but if you're pulling by hand, you've got to be careful where it winds up. The rubber can fold up to go through doorways or between sprinkler heads that a piece of plywood could never fit through.
