We got one used from a dairy that had quit milking. The company helped up make contact with the owner to get it. I've never put anything but a Jersey in ours, but it's made for Holsteins too. I guess you just fold up what's sticking out and put the doors in!

We have ground water at 70*F and have a large tank and pump to feed a cow wash sprinkler pen. Also seldom have any really cold winter weather here, so we just use the ground water to fill the tank and then run some hot water from the milkhouse into it when the cow needs to be kept warm overnight etc. If you put a tarp over the top, it's surprising how much heat it retains. If it's getting cold, I just drain the water out and leave the cow in the tank lying on the mat if she cannot stand on her own. It's not ideal, but they seem to do OK in there if you refloat them next morning.
