We have a home loan with Farm Credit. No problems at all. I do think that there have been some lower rates at other banks but not enough to matter. They ran our construction on my line of credit and then made a rural home loan to pay it back when the house was finished. That was 17 years ago so the costs were not as high as they are now. I do think that the fees were less than some other banks.
