| I really love farming. Would do it for nothing and have several times. Sometimes on various threads I hear people complaining about certain things and certain other people they deal with. I see family members and friends stuck on daily jobs they and could not imagine doing that. I our little part of a 5 mile area there are at least 3 guys in their early 90's who still farm with a little help now, but love as much as they did when they were sitting on a wd-45. Now that I'm old enough to group a few decades of farm change instead of years I realize how much I really love it everyday. Well except one of those days where the combine breaks down twice, truck blows a motor, and my pickup has a flat. Take those days a who lot better than I did 20 years ago though. My edcuated children don't love it like I do. Think its boring. For I'll take a little boring and enjoy watching the corn grow! | |
