Portland TN
Dads first sp combine was a massy Harris 82 , then moved up (?) to a 410 . He would buy them 1 and 2 at the time for parts and spent the winter dismantle them . When he retired I went with a 750 (stupid move). Why I put the fire out twice in one day I'll never know. Sold it for $1600 ,( box and 18' flex and 6 row 30" corn head.) We would wrench all morning and thrash till it broke again. That's why I go by Junkmandan as I am still hauling the parts he stored in the barns to the scrap yard . Still have 4 410's (2 still running diesels) and a 750 hulk and a bunch of old heads to go . Oh ,I forgot the lone 82 still in the weeds somewhere. I now run a IH axial flow and I enjoy the harvest with only a grease gun and my 5 year old son in the cab with me.
