| Maybe so, and I'm not calling you a liar. I know ALL combine lines have had their share of lemons, but I know too many custom harvesters who had 860's and swore by them. I've seen the good ones run for days on end, too, without any problems at all, even little ones.
I'm with you on just letting that junky one burn. I know some here may think it sounds callous, but if that really was such a sorry combine, it should have been left to to fate. Nature culls its own, too. Besides, there is probably nothing worse than a combine, of any kind, that's been through even a partial fire. You know as well as I do, the fire set it back to the point it was always worse than it was in the first place. I honestly don't get some of the stuff firemen do, anyway. | |
