| 1988. That was when the Brantford factory closed. The rotary model was continued for a while, uder the new name, Massey Combine Corporation. By then, their big one, the Model 8590 [same as White 9700] had been discontinued. The 8570 was the one kept. This is what AGCO continued to build [with another name change] and is the so-called new "Massey" rotary, now, with a new style rotor pirated from an independent inventor. | |
