It will physically fit, the width of the frame is the same on everything from a 2510 to a 4630 (and up to 4960, but there are body clearance issues on the 4640 and up which require the 168 for bodywork clearance) you just have to mount the loader relative to the front of the tractor.

The problem is that the tractor will turn the 148 into a pretzel if you use even a portion of it's tractive ability.


This is exactly what my thinking was, top to bottom. Except I was thinking the 4520/4620 had significantly wider hood/fuel tank than the frame rail width. Apparently not. Having owned a 4010 with a 148 and a 4020 with a 158, I'm having a hard time figuring how one would physically fit a given tractor and the other not.
I don't have the advantage of a manual in front of me, however.
