According to parts....the main difference on all is the length of the side rails (148-168). And 45-46s have more bolts.....

Well differing side frame lengths would explain it. I guess I never noticed the difference between the mounts on my own 148 and 158 unless they happened to be 148 mounts that came with the used 158 when I bought it. Of course my auction was 20 years ago next month....................
