My wife and I (well mostly my wife) home schooled our daughter K-12.  Of all the choices we made as parents, the choice to teach her at home was a fabulous one.  We are so glad we could have curriculum and the freedom to use it available to us.  We have friends still today that kinda look down their nose at us for doing it.  My only thought about that attitude is "ignorance is bliss".  If you can teach your children at home, by all means possible, try to do so.
