home schooled 6th-8th grade... i guess the teachers wanted to put me on ritalin and my parents just thought i needed more spankings... looks like the spankings turned out to work ok...

i have been to public school (k-5th), homeschool (6th-8th), and private christian school (9th-12th) and without a doubt during homeschooling i learned the best... could do math in my head in 8th grade better than when i graduated high school (could have been the girls distracting me later on though)...

we still have 5 years till we have to address the schooling situation for our kids. i will say that if you can home school while getting your kids involved with public school sports, community activities,  church events they will have the interaction with kids while getting a far better education...

there is no perfect answer to schooling as every option has its flaws....
