Nevada, Iowa | First, I am not criticizing your thoughts but I swear I used to have better reception with the old analog phones. Maybe it's increased phone traffic or whatever but I hardly ever had a dropped call on analog.
I do like the size change and the capabilities of today's phones and I do think service here is getting better. Finally, I will say there is a huge difference in phones themselves. A good number of years ago, I had a young man helping me with grain bin work. He could talk to his fiance from inside the bin. I had to get in the pu truck and drive a 1/4 mile to the crest of a hill to talk to anyone. We both had Motorola phones and were both on Verizon, he had the then new razor. As soon as I could upgrade, I had one too. Those things had great reception for us. | |
