Cells were getting questioned hard about coverage, service etc. I chimed in with "I can see 5 towers from one farm and yet have no signal. I think it's a terrible waste of resources to have that many towers in such a small area and and even bigger crime to have no signal myself. There's too many companys with no cooperation to provide service". One of the cell phone types aske me how many farmesteads I could see? All I could say was "point well made".
Buy the way I learned a lot about the cell phone industry. I don't complain about them near as much. Both of them expressed that they feel our communications are at high risk for interruption due to natural disasters or sabatoge. as well as our gps. It's truly amazing what one can learn on vacation. |
