Jon, I've been thinking about your solution for the Coupe. Sounds like a winner but I sure hate to give up the nice flat roof and having the antenna up there with such a nice view of the constellation. Did you experiment with telling the EZ-Guide that the antenna was closer to the back axle than it really was, when it was mounted on the roof? Lying to the controller about the antenna position should change how agressively it seeks the line.

Cold here this morning and 45 MPH breezes predicted by about the time it warms up today. Might get to experiment with that aspect tomorrow. Doesn't look like it will happen today though.
