| Thanks everyone for the advice, I have satellite internet so I was unable to respond last night, because of cold rainy weather. Disavantages of satellite. I looked at our closing market last night and for Mar. 2013 corn was $6.10 and basis was -30 which made it $5.80. Didn't know whether I should wait a couple more weeks to see if it would go higher. My husband did alot of basis but me being a newby makes me a little nervous since we can't control weather. Anyway Thanks for the advice and yes I know I'm the only one to make the decision but it's nice to bounce thoughts off everyone. My plan is to sell when I know the price will cover my expenses plus contract for next years expenses. Hopefully the market goes with my plan.
Anyway Thanks for the suggestions, will probably be kicked off here today because of 80% rain. Hope everyone is having a good harvest | |
