Embarrass WI | We've been feeding raw milk for over 15 years, calves do great on it. What could be better for a calf than the product God made for it? We test every cow every year for Johne's, any milk that comes from a cow with a Johne's infection is dumped.
IMO, it's a big mistake to NOT feed whole milk to calves. Pasteurizing is probably not a bad idea, but I don't feel it is necessary-as long as you have a handle on your Johne's situation and keep things clean.
