Just curious, but how are your ear counts in relation to your actual plant populations this year with your planter set-up? are you seeing any differences in 2011 vs. 2010? The reason that I ask is that my ear count is 1-2K worse in 2011 than it was in 2010. I seemed to have much bigger issues with trash pinning this year in more "ideal/drier" conditions than I did in the tacky/muddier conditions in 2010. It's almost as though my notill corn-on-corn almost needs wetter conditions to be more forgiving if that ever makes sense.....
