NC Indiana | To answer your question about can you water that many acres, if you have bigger machine (3.5-4") then yes it's possible, but I'm talking you'll be married to the thing 24/7 (sleeping in the truck w/ the window down so the water wakes you up to move it kinda deal). There is one local guy now who is still irrigating solely w/ travelers, and he has 3 soft hose machine and a hard hose and all his pipe is laid out and burried. We have (used up until this yr) 5 soft hose machine and a hard hose machine. With what you're talking about, that is where I would put a couple of soft hose units and leave them. | |
