Definately stay with the Iowa Woodford Hydrants. I have been using Cobett waterers for my automatice waterers. The best part is they are energy free. No electricity needed at all. On supper cold nights (-10 to -20) they will get an ice cap 2 inch +/- thick. Cobett.com
