Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Hadn't been on here in a while and just saw your older threads. Grass looks darn good. Unfortunately, lot of feed early on means lot of fuel for fires when it dries up. Still looks pretty green there though.
Wondered why the water trough was so big, makes sense now. Better than having to maintain a small trough with a storage tank. We've got some cows out on a place where they use an old rail car for the storage. Always wondered how they got there, its not far out of the valley but still a ways from a track, and those things are heavy.
Got a place to fence this fall, half tempted to go with steel braces just for fire. I burn on my side, but can keep it out of the fence, but the rest adjoins BLM and it would be like them to let it burn once in a while. | |
