Subject: 2nd shot of roundup, should I install the ez steer?

Earlier this year I got a good deal on a ezsteer system (ez guide+, T2, ez steer) and since I had mixed results using my older ez guide SL, I thought I should just run with the eg+ lightbar only for a while. The SL would sometimes have wild swings and I was just a little concerned how that might feel if it was steering. Anyway, the EG+ turned out to work so much better than the SL that I left the steering part off and really wondered if I wanted to use it at all.

Now I have one more pass of roundup to do next week on about 300 acres and it may be all for the year (unless we have aphids). For those who have used waas to steer, has it worked pretty good? Was it stable? Would I be better off waiting until the rtk type systems get cheaper to start using the steering system?

What do you think?

Thanks, Pat
