Subject: RE: Something else to worry about

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Ed, we are using Raven 660 controller, it has a separate Raven switch box for boom section switches. They are toggle switches, two of them failed the 1st season and one failed the 2nd season. They always fail while we are spraying, fortunately the switch box has 7 switches and our boom only has 5 sections so we can swap switches when they fail while spraying. So far we have been able to keep 5 of them working while we spray. Now that EZsteer is driving sprayer we can keep our eye on boom sections and catch toggle switch failures before we miss much spray coverage but it's big PIA and reduces our confidence in all this whiz-bang technology stuff. I hope your toggle switches are better quality than ours..................
