Subject: RE: Rental property

central - east central Minnesota -

Indianajones - 7/10/2011 21:16 I am buying a rental property and am looking at contracts for the lease. For those that have rentals houses, what unique/important/unusual clauses do you have in your contracts? What would you not be without in a venture such as this? Thanks INDY

If the property has out buildings and out yards, that you intend to use (farmstead) . . . .spell it out in the contract. If you disturb the party, with farming activities (storage / use of out buildings, added livestock, driving in and out of premises ect), they could sue you for loss of use / disturbance of their use. Spell out what constitues they yard use around the house.
It's always a good idea to work with a experenced property attorney.
If it's a home in town - then disreguard ~
