For every dollar we spent in space it returned 45 dollars. That was the figures about ten years ago. I will guarantee you wouldn't have all the plastics, epoxys, cell phones, GPS guidance systems, medical inventions. You just name it, it is because of the work done getting to space. If it wasn't for the space program, your military wouldn't have been able to have the equipment to find Bin Laden or others they have taken out.

The biggest problem is we will be giving up our security of country if we don't keep up our space program.

We have a program in place to continue in space, but our president was trying to pull the program, trying to change contractors. Just to give the contracts to his buddies, and to the states that voted for him. The nixing of the space program was just political, just to get votes. Not what is the best interest of our country.

Without the space program you wouldn't be farming the same way today, more like the way Russia farms.
